Let me clarify I don’t fall into anyone specific category of dieting and nutrition, I have made a choice in my life to educate myself and others about the importance of eating healthy and what healthy really means. I started my journey wanting to be Vegan and then I felt that the dairy restrictions were too difficult for me so I went to Vegetarian. That was my first mistake. Being Vegan has allowed me to understand the benefits of whole foods and learn what is good for my body and what is harmful for my body. I actually put weight i loss back on when I went from being Vegan to Vegetarian. Cheese is the enemy!
Healthy Bitch Food and Calorie Intake
My daily diet regiment consists of 60 percent raw food, 16 ounces fresh squeezed juice, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, nuts, soy, and once in awhile organic milk when cooking. Cheese and dairy have been the hardest thing to give up but so worth it. Practically all my fruits and vegetables are organic and if I cant find organic then usually I wont buy. I allow my total calorie intake up to 1500 calories a day, I always try to stay between 1,200 to 1,500 calories.
Portion Control is a Must to be a Healthy Bitch
I make sure that for just about every meal I eat where nutritional facts are available, and lets face it with the internet you can find this out for almost all foods you eat, that I know what the serving size is and how much calories, fat, sodium, carbohydrates, and protein are in the food I eat.
